Need help in London

by Salman Hameed

I will be in London all of next week (Oct 9-15). I'm there to conduct short interviews with physicians and medical students that are from Pakistan or are of Pakistani origin. We have already finished similar surveys in Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey and the US (some of the results should be coming out soon). All interviews are anonymous and confidential, and each interview takes about 10-15 minutes. It would be fantastic if some of the readers have contacts in London that may be willing to participate in the survey. Please send me an e-mail (you can find it here) if you know of any such contacts and/or if you can introduce me to those who can connect me to the Pakistani medical community in London.

Thanks so much!

I was in UK last week to purchase some astronomy equipment. I have some batch mates in UK but none in London. That HAS to be in London or can be somewhere else? What is it all about?

Thanks Akbar. For the time being, I'm only going to London. I know there is also a large Pakistani community in Manchester. It is possible that some other time, I may go there for interviews. But I'm trying to get interviews only in London this time (i have only a week, and it is easier to stay at one place for such a short time frame).

Anonymous,

These are in-person interviews. There time I'll be in London, but Glasgow is a distinct possibility for another trip. Thanks.

Hi Salman,

Sorry I missed this post. How was your trip to UK? Do you manage to achieve your objectives?

I know couple of Pakistani doctors in UK (Manchester), incase you want to interview them.

Cheers
