then check out his new TV ad (tip from Cosmic Variance). Hmm...this must be a coincidence that the footage is only about one religion... Yikes!! (and yes, this is a real ad...it is the front piece at Giuliani's official website)

WHAT THE HECK?!?! is this a campaign AD or War Propaganda?!
Rudy's ADs are backward and lose their point, here in Tampa, FL i've seen his silly lil AD, and i'll say it doesn't accomplish a thing.
And for some reason if does become the President, you may not want his approval ratings fall. He will do his best to keep the US in a state of war to keep his popularity (as can be judged from this ad).
Excellent point! But, does Godwin's Law (and/or its Corollary) apply to politics? Unfortunately, there is a chance that just the inverse may happen in politics. But by strict application, yes, he loses :)
Hmm. Well, the Law states that, as an (online) discussion goes on, the chance of Hitler/Nazis being brought up nears 1. I suspect that the law itself not true for U.S. politics, because the left is too P.C. and the right is too worried about people drawing parallels. But a) I bet if you put the same people online in an anonymous forum, the Law *would* apply, and b) the Corollary may be *more* relevant when a participant pulls the Nazi card in real life, precisely because of the stigma.
More research must be done, but the current evidence (his falling ratings) supports our initial conclusions.
Yes, I was more referring to the spirit of the law (about taking the argument to the extreme). But I'm all for more research...and for his falling ratings.

This is Ron Paul Country.

Oh well...
I'd say that the blatant use of goose-stepping images counts as an invocation of the Corollary to Godwin's Law. That means that Giuliani loses, right?
